Thread: If its true reg exp is back, DONT FORGET about the 30-1 combat conversion is a major issue too.

Dont forget that although we all are extremely happy about it returning, dont forget what they did to combat exp. We get such a small amount of it sure maybe 3-1 is a bit much but it was still a good system, maybe 6-1 or 10-1 would suit everyone but not 30-1 when your getting 500 of it for one kill

I challenge your reasoning, I believe maybe they did this intentionally, with the added intent of switching it back, so people like you and me would forget about the 30-1 conversion..... you see its called pulling the wool over your eyes, your so happy they reverted a change, you completely forgot about what they did in the first place. If you been playing mmorpgs as long as I have you would know what a HUGE deal it is for devs to roll back a change, its major and doesnt happen unless something is really wrong or they using it as a ploy................. PS I apologize if you have been playing mmorpgs for a long time.

jesus.... please, just leave the damn conversion rate alone. they serve their purpos, and yes, it makes jedi grind longer, but it keeps those damn nades outta sight. it does good for the jedi community too, keeping their numbers low, as they are already to high. i can say that because im a non-jedi and intend to stay that way, at least for awhile. i just need some fs skills.... so flame me all you want but QUIT WHINING

I really didn't see much complaining about the 30-1 conversion. Most people accepted it. But this last publish made it all but impossible for casual gamers to finish FS and the finish Jedi. So there was no point in playing the game any longer...and many people cancelled their accounts. SOE probably saw a huge number of accounts being closed and backed down to save SWG from dying due to lack of subscriptions.

no im not going to quit complaining and accept something that impedes my gamepley, Also JEDI NUMBERS ARNT GOING DOWN!!! They are already here, what being slowed down is the release of new ones, and thats not going to happen, so what is the differance if I get it a month or two earlier, nothing, im not going to quit the game neither is anyone else. Jedi are here to stay its the one great piece of content, and yes I do foresee a huge battle when FRS comes out but guess what... Do you know how much fun that is going to be when you are a part of it? When you have extra allies like me fighting with you? Its just more content, dont try to take it away from people because everyone wants to be selfish, we still have to work for it its not handed to us.

I can accept the 30 to 1 only because crafters and entertainers dont get a bonus xp with their base xp and that is all combat xp is once you are going for jedi because you are just converting whatever xp you can get for force xp.

I can accept the 30:1 conversion IF xp is indeed back to normal on live ( I havent logged in yet)
When I logged in this morning and got 14k xp for ONE lair as lvl 80 toon, knowing the devs didn't even warn us, I think like everyone else I felt like sending the devs pile of dog doo doo.
