Force Sensitive Archive

Is anyone else having a problem starting whip's quest? He keeps giving me a message like I'm doing a quest for someone else, but I haven't started any quests for this phase. One of the guys in my old guild gave me the heath crystal before he quit the game. Does anyone know if this affects this quest?
