So the 'Old Man' finally shows up and say he has something important.....

I go to converse with him and nothing happens. He animates a hand gesture everytime I try to talk to him, but nothing else happens and he eventually runs off. He showed up and ran off 3 times in a row, all the while I couldn't converse with him. I was not in combat, I was not in a city, I was not in a structure, and I was not in a vehicle. Any help would be appreciated. I did put in a CSR ticket, but I don't know how if/when anything will be done on that end.

my best advice..

go buy a fishing rod and some bait

go head to rori maybe 1k or 2k from the starport sit down by some water and fish

logout for a while, come back, fish

usually he comes in 24hours or so. Sometimes more, if I remember correctly he took like 3 days to show for me!

ROri is so deserted that usually most things spawn there with slim to no lag or weirdness.

and if he doesn't show up for a while? Just log out and come back the next day..

I know hard to do.. but having a NOn-bugged Melichae mission is worth it.
