Either that, or hes tired of playing santa claus for all the new force initiates.

lol, he does seem to take his own sweet time. but if its been at least two days or more. then i recommend traveling from player city to player city. that seems to do the trick. do the same with the sith u have to kill after the old man spawns.
also, keep a sharp eye out. ive seen many many players miss there old man. he will call out your name as hes running up to you. so stay alert. shuttling from player city to player city make sure you wait a few minuts. he should come right away.

Shuttling is not always the answer
because you can miss him when he spawn there and you already launched for next player city.
The only thing that worked well in our guild is go fishing
go to a sport where you can fish, log out, log in and start fishing.
Still these doesn't garantee a visit faster but you will not miss him.
I got all my visited just outside my home after 5 min of chatting in guildchat after the second day.
So don't rush him, he'll come when he wants it

just got him tonight for my second toon. I allways log out in my house and then when i log in do stuff around the area for awhile instead of flying all over and what not. This time i spent a day decorating the house.

proven technique.
go to a player city shuttleport and log out for 72hrs. (realtime)
log back in and linger about the shuttle port for about 10min.
this has worked for numerous people. it does work.

why don't you just go about your regular business? like go hunting or something. or do some quests. all that crap doesnt make him come faster.

I'm sure nobody will do this, but I gotta say it. He comes within 72. If you stay logged out for 3 days (you can do something for 3 days other than play an MMO) he'll practically tackle you when you log on. But theres like 0.1% chance of somone having just gotten glowie and doing this by choice. Oh well...

My second visit came in less than a day, but I went to Yavin 4 and sat in the wilderness. Actual time logged in was about 30 minutes waiting. I worked that day so I wasn't logged in during the day at all.

yea... but it is like watching water boil. if you watch the water, it takes forever, but if you do something else and come back, the pot is a rolling boil. well, the game is the same. if you sit around on the game, all you will do is think about the old man coming. if you walk away from the game, do other stuff, then come back... he will be about the first thing you do when you log in.

He took approximately 24 hours for me, and came this morning when I had just ran in my house and didn't notice him until I saw 'The mysterious old man runs off', but I stepped outside and he was there within 3 minutes.
