Thread: Huge FS Bug with Sith

I need some major help. Yesterday morning. I received my first crystal from the old man.


Around 8 hours later. The sith attacked and a group of people helped me, 2 sith, I looted the first but could not access the 2nd. Sith attacked again, same issue. Sith attacked the 3rd time and their were 3, they incap'd me and took my crystal but 2 of them stuck around. Once I came to, I defeated them both and looted them and got a datapad and waypoint to the village and not a sith camp. I than proceeded to find the old man again to receive a crystal. The Old man quest and Sith ambush quest are both checked off in my quest log. But I can not go into the village because it will not let me past the fog.And I have spent about 2 hours port jumping for the sith to attack again. I thought I could redo the sith ambush by deleting the datapad and waypoint but that did not work. Now I have the force crystal with both quest checked off.


This all occured around midnight last night. Now am I hopelessly bugged, go start a new character, I'm never getting a Jedi. Or will the sith quest vanish from my log after so long and the sith will indeed hunt me again?

I just deleted my force crystal and decided to wait for the old man to come again and try it all over. Did I just make a huge mistake? Ugh, this si so buggy, it's disgusting.

Same thing happened to me. I have not deleted my crystal. If you get something to work let me know.

Yea, I just read yours. I've been getting the run around with CSR and I'm trying to get it to work. I deleted everything I got in hope of another visit from both old man and sith.

I guess I got lucky. I got the Glowly status, logged for 2 days because of work, got on and the Old Man was there when I loaded in. Got the crystal, went about my business. Had to go to work, came back, started soloing a Grand Krayt, got him down to half health...and noticed there is some ranged fire comming at me, holy crap its the sith shadows.


I start attcking the Sith while dodging the Krayt, it eventually gave up, I wasted the Sith got the WP, went to WP killed the Sith base camp, and procedded to go to the village and everything is working fine...so far



I hope to not run into any bugs, I just finished the Vechicle treeand now Iam banking exp until next phase

If you are incapped and have your crystal stolen by the Sith, you have failed the quest (you failed to protect the crystal), even if you got back up and looted the datapad. You must wait for the Old Man to visit again. After that, the Sith will attack again, giving you another chance.

I know that now. But now I have both quest completed, waiting on a ticket, and I have no items. So I need to redo everything. Which I hope I can do.

If the system shows you've completed the quest, just go to the village (5306 -4145 on Dathomir). If you can get through the fog, then you're good.


As for not receiving a response to your ticket, Customer Service is/was shut down for the July 4th US holiday.

The quest will reset, even though it shows to be completed. Same thing happened to a friend, it was a mess. Got so bugged at one point that the sith were arriving, followed immediately by the old man! It will keep reseting.

God this is so bad, I had the same problem with the sith ambush after the old man's visit.


This is what happened and how i got through it, hope it helps



Ok I got the old man's visit and got the crystal, that went without a hitch. 24 hours later the two sith arrived and incapped me ( I think this is the problem) most of my guildies got through this first time because they killed the sith first time, without getting incapped. People seem to suffer from this bug if they get incapped and the sith take their crystal.


Anyway, I then got up and killed the two sith really easy, looted the WP disc and tried to use it - "You must loot this item before trying to use it" message came up, hmm I thought. I then relogged but same happened again so I deleted the disc and waited.


About 10 minutes later the old guy returned and gave me the crystal again, I then called a guild mate in and waited for the sith to return, about 20 minutes later they arrived and totally destroyed me and my mate, they seemed to be a lot harder to beat than the first pair of sith???????


Needless to say they took my crystal again


So I got really fed up and logged, the next day the old man was waiting for me, so I got the new crystal and went to an NPC City stayed there all day doing a few space missions waiting for a nice guild force to call on to kill these sith once and for all.


I must have been in the NPC City for 4 or 5 hours before I had enough guildies to make sure the job was done, I took 3 with me all level 80's, as soon as I left the city the sith showed and we destroyed them only to have one of our new'er guildies loot the WP disc - OMFG was I condemed to never ever getting to the village?


He apologised and I calmed down after an hour or so, I then thought sod this I'm going to get my level to 80 and kill them myself with no group or any help - WOOHOO! they came and I killed - I looted the disc (after killing them both) and got the WP from it, plain sailing from then on, I found the camp and killed the three sith there and looted the WP to the village which I prompley entered.


All is well in the world again, but this bug is so soul destroying after doing all the theme parks ect. to get here!


I hope this helps anyone struggling to get the WP to the sith camp.


Just to recap, I did the 2 sith solo, with no incap to me and no crystal loss, I looted the WP disc after killing both sith, also I looted the disc without using "loot all" I opened the window and got the disc that way, I have no idea if that matters but it worked for me.
