Argh! I was on vacation and missed all this lovely double xp! I would have completed my entire Jedi trees if I was not on vacation. Sob.
Wait till patch 20, when that goes live i am sure they will have to give it all over again.
BTW who else here thinks that because of the double xp we will be seeing a "baby boom" of jedi?
As for the double-xp ending early, i'm kinda bummed too since i was out of town for both weekends, and could've gotten done with the grind in one more day. But I got most of it done and considering i have to wait till NEXT phase II to get 6th unlock, it's not a problem.
Plus, i was able to get my other guy from CL5 to CL75 during the weekdays of double xp, so that was cool.
As for the jedi baby-boom, that was/id coming regardless of double-xp. Honestly, i didn't see hardly any out in hunting groups this whole week on my server. Maybe they were all just grinding on Kashyyyk?!

"Baby boom" or "Jedi boom" is not a bad way to describe it. I don't think it's going to be as huge as it seems though. To really get it done, you had to be in a position to grind effectively before the double XP started or get in one very quickly. By that, I mean already being glowy and having a template allowing you to make large XP deposits at the village. Looking through the FS forum, a lot of noobs were trying (and failing) to get glowy at the 11th hour, so we know the worst of the noobs won't gain any benefit. I can't speak for all servers, but on Starsider many of the grind groups I was finding were focused on getting their regular professions ground out, not the Jedi grind. Also, I suspect a lot of the "3133+" powergrinders will lose interest and move on before they unlock their phases.
It might end up being 1-200 new Jedi per server, but when you're talknig about populations of 8,000 or more per server, that's not huge.
