POSTING THIS FOR - Pipp Fortewna
I tried doing a search for the information I need, but had no luck. Sorry if this question gets asked a lot. I just don't know what else to do.
Basically I have been attacked by sith over and over again and still have not been able to loot any datapad of anykind. So far i have been looting ore, but never a waypoint? has this happend to anyone else? what should i do? thanks for your help.

Trust me getting the disk won't be your biggest problem. Just be patient and try to get away from everyone so they don't accidently grab the disk instead of you I suggest going to dantooine and getting in a remote location. Hope I helped.

Is anyone grouped with you at the time? Or are you in a populated area where someother people might try to help (meaning they loot the sith for you)

Well, not nessisarilly.. i'v killed them in so many different situations...
Problem is i'm not getting the waypoint datapad, and i'v honestly looted them SO many times

first thing... make sure... you dont loot until they are ALL dead...
kill them all then loot.
if that does not work submit a ticket.. and a CSR will help you..
also if you are in a group.. make sure you hit each of the sith once..
and try not to let others (not in your group) attack the sith.. only you and your group..(must be grouped)

Also use the radial menu to loot or double click, not a macro. As my alt did actually loot the datapad, but I was unable to read it, until I used the radial menu.

when the sithappear make sure you get at least one shot on all of them if you are grouped.
make sure no one else loots them if you are grouped.
make sure you don't loot them until they have all been killed.
if they incap you, they take your crystal and you have to wait for the old man again. you can still kill them after they incap you but you will not be able to get the waypoint, since they have already stolen your crystal.
if you have followed these things and still don't get the waypoint, then it is a possibility that you are bugged.
also, when you say you have killed many of them, just to clarify, you haven't been wondering around dathomir just killing random sith and trying to loot the datapad off them that way have you? this probably isn't the case but i have to make sure. to get the datapad and waypoint, the sith have to appear and be for you specifically.

Not really, i'v looted them almost 20 times now without a waypoint disk?
How many do i have to kill? Is this normal? My friend Shew Bawka got his first try?

um you kill them loot their body then thier'll be a datapad in your initory you read it it wil lgive you the wp to a camp kill them all loot them and you get a 2nd data pad leading you to the village it worked for both my toons

This one is more of an issue that it should be. I hear about this happening alot. When grouped as group leader, type /grouploot
