Thread: Phase 4 Sith Raid Questions....

Just went to the Village last night for the first time and started on Melee Defense quest - Sith Raid. Fortunately I got a buff before heading there and didn't realize the Siths had 50k HAMs. Do you just have to kill the 50 that the cap'n originally asks for or are there more quests after the initial one to unluck the branch? Also, I converted a bit of XP, but did I make a mistake by converting it before unlocking a branch? Does anyone find that Docs give buffs at the Village or do most people get them before heading there?

You need to kill 25 Sith Pirates and 50 Sith Outlaws. You get no quest credit for killing Sith Thugs. If you do damage to a Sith outlaw/pirate, it'll count as a kill when the NPC dies.
In my experience, everyone was way too busy during the raids to buff (or even rez) but our server didn't have many people buffing at the Science Outpost either. There was time between the raids (45-60 minutes) for buffs and conversation.
I don't see why converting XP before taking the quest would be a problem.

Yep what the person above me said you have plenty oppurtunity to kill sith, they attack thevillage every hour or so.

on know on my server there was a buffing doc in the village and docs rezing during the battle.....that was their job, heal and rez. now wether there was a buffing doc in the village you didnt know until you got there. so id recommend getting buffs before you head there.

VERY late in the phase to be starting this mission. you would be lucky to find teammates still doing it in the village

Thanks for the input. It looks like another 10 days for this phase so it should be enought time to complete the quest but its unlikely I'll have enough XP to convert. Say I only killed 40 of the sith before it shifted, would I then have to start the quest over when this phase appeared again? Or would the 40 kills carry over?
