Ok, If i picked a phase 4 free unlock (melee def) than choose to unlock rifle accuracy or what ever it is for phase 4. I finished the quest (killed 50 sith outcast and 25 pirates) got the reward and am not sure what to do now. Does the free unlock( from holos)count as my one unlockfor thisphaseor can i pick an additional phase 4 branch to do. (basically did i waste my time doing this quest only to have to redo it next phase 4).

Free unlocks are just that - free. They're only a problem if you use them on the only branch in a phase you WANT to unlock, so you have no quest worth doing...

So I did ok than? How do i get the rifle accuracy branch to show up in my known skills tree? All i see in melee def. Do I need to do something else?

ranged speed and accuracy are under combat prowess not enhanced reflexes

Yeah but Combat prowess has not shown up yet only Enhanced Reflexes. Is it because i have yet to train the Novice box?
