Thread: Is no more server restarts really a good thing?

Course this all hinges on them actually doing what they said they would do and it actually working. Sorry but I don't give them the benifit of the dought anymore, way to many promises and states broken for way to many reasons.

Yeah the re-sets were good. I know a key was server restarts for the old man to come too so i dunno what happens now. I am just glad to be done with the village

This is awful giggle ..... My family are going to starve, my dog is going to go unwalked... Server reset was midday my time, it made me log off and get lunch and do some housework lol.

It doesnt bother me. Maybe there will be a few more people on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

I hope the MOB respawn times have been fixed. Being keyed off server restarts, they reset everyday. Without a restart it is totally possible that the sought-after MOB's will not spawn for days now.

Yeah without the reset when will Axkva Min and all those once a day MOBs spawn?

Well if I know the DEVs enough they didn't think about that and they will never spawn...Until they fix it...Which won't be soon.

Hmm. I don't quite understand. So does this mean that AFK entertainers can set their character going Friday afternoon and it will continue all weekend while the person is off on vacation?

All server tech shifted over to EQ2 = no one around to reset SWG servers = BS line about server stability.


BTW I was at the village one time when it 'shifted'. It is not dependant on a server reset, just a timer ( which is affected by the server reset, but not dependant).

this is great news for us Asian based players.. i live in GMT+8hours timezone, and that means that there will be no more server shut down during our prime playing time, which is usually between 7pm and 8pm!!!! woooooot......
