I am reading a brief description of what each of the FS branches in Crafting Mastery are supposed to give, but I need some clarification on a few things...
First for Force Experimentation, that just increases your chance for an amazing success when experimenting, correct?
Second, Force Repair is pretty self explanitory, the higher the bonus the better the chance to repair the item with minor blemishes, etc.
Here is where I'm getting really confused...
Force Assembly enhances your ability to succeed when crafting, and Crafting Technique decreases the chance of failing when crafting. So they do the same thing? Any clarification would be appreciated. Thanks!

Chance to succeed helps with starting experimentation. For example if you get "good success" you may have it start at 10% or if you get an "Amazing success" it may be 15%.
Critical failure just lowers the probablity of losing the item during assembly.

Good question, I have no idea what the difference is. I'd be interested if anyone else knows too.

FS assembly helps out assembly. This is the first window in crafting. My experience has shown (I'm 4424 FS crafting) that I only get great, amazing or critical failures on assembly. Gone are the days of moderate, good, success, etc..
FS experimentation does the same as above except you only get great or amazing. And it affects the experimentation phase. The only caveat to this is you'll only get the great/amazings if you are a master of your crafting profession. I've done testing with novice crafting professions and I can get worse than great/amazing then. But as a Master WS I never get worse than great/amazing.
FS technique is supposed to decrease the chance of a critical failure. It's unclear if this is during assembly or experimentation or both. It's also hard to say whether or not this is working or not since I have the other two trees filled.

Thanks for the reply Enigma. So I guess it's safe to say no one knows for sure exactly what Technique does then?
