Thread: Wow i mean Wow Melee accuracy quest, just wow.

Having the darn commander die so close to the village, i mean how much does that suck. =/

Only 3 spawns possible to actualy get the commander to the village on time.

Any further the poison kicks in and murders him. Realy why have all those other bases?!!?? shrug, just to fool people to make them waiste there time i guess.

I finaly did it at one 3200m away from village and got back fine. But the one north and a little west of the village 5200m away just does not allow for enough time to escort him back. Am i completely wrong? has anyone escorted him from further than 4k and made it?


Just curious, Im happy im finaly done, so i don't care, but realy wow was it a pain, and i feel for all others who havn't done it yet.

some have but the timers do suck, gotta have a very fast killinggroup. Sucks now buteven more so before when the commander would "walk" not run back with you.

just watched a couple peeps take the commander out of a base and he was definitely not running in fact he was walking slower than the escorts could walk

I just did this mission a couple hours ago and the commander did NOT run with anyone at anytime. This has got to be the worst mission in the history of MMOs. The commander walks slower than you can possibly imagine. Not only that but he must have zero or negative terrain negotiation. About half way back to the village he would follow for 40-60meters then turn around and walk away. The person who rescued him had to keep going back after him. We did this for 3200meters. I have never been so relieved to finish a mission in all my years of gaming. I am going to go back to my FS grind with a big porkchop eating grin because I never have to repeat this mission. I would rather go to an insurance meeting for hours on end than go through this again. I'd rather jump from an airplane and land on a bicycle that has no seat than ever have to bring that sith commander anywhere else. I'd rather have that sith commander take an enourmous dump in my sock drawer than lead him to the bathroom down the hall. Forget this mission. Never again.

Yeah im hearing the same. This has been a problem for i think the past 3 times phase 3 has come around and each time the Devs say it is fixed. If you run to far in front of the commander he will try and escape and you will have to recapture him again. /bug it in game or have friends that are going to do this one bug it. Maybe the 4th time will be the charm and it will finally get fixed LOL, Im gonna try this on my alt tonight and see how it goes.

He does not run what so ever, he is walking slow. Wish he was runing if he ran maybe further distances would be possible. Suppose no one has accomplished a 5k+ escort?

Dude takes an hour to run from Mount Chalot to nyms I finished the Commander quest in about 30 mins because we did this:


He breaks away at around 85m we go 85m wait till hes at 40 then repeat

i did this not 15 min. ago and he ran his a$$ off at me. Last 200 m. stretch i burstran and left him.

i helped do this last time phase 3 rolled around and the bastage dies like 50 m before the entrance to the village.

I do have one tip though, make sure ALL of your group is lvl 80. first they will kill faster and not draw aggro from other creatures. we had 1 or 2 lower lvl guys in our group and they kept drawing aggro from a spawn right outside the base.

i did one abit over 5k away, you have to stay abit ahead of him and then he moves abit faster at times to catch up always have someone walk behind him, i rarely see commanders run of if you have one behind him on follow. but the zero nego is tough to beat so you have to walk where theres no hills or atleast not streight up hills.

Realy why have all those other bases?!!?? shrug, just to fool people to make them waiste there time i guess.

Same deal here.



Helped 2 friends with this. The battle's were easy, then to have the commander die from poison 500m away. And I'm a master Doc, you would think I could heal poison.


He does run off if you have someone behind him. But the 85m trick works pretty good.


At one point he wouldn't even go down a mountain side. What's up with that?!?!?!
