Hello,

First off let me say I tried to do a search to see if this has been mentioned before but the search feature seems to be working even worse then it usually is today. Just a few days ago I decided to start working to FS, Village, all that. I got all the badges I needed and now when I /check I get the glow message. So now its time for the old man.
Its been close to two days now and I know that it is completely normal and in some cases it may take longer. What confuses me is the old man has appeared to me twice within those two days and both times when I converse with him all he says is "I am sorry. I have nothing to discuss with you." I was just wondering if this a bug or if it was just bad luck and I keep running across someone elses old man. The only reason I ask is because in none of the guides did I read anything about the chance of running into the wrong old man and thought maybe something was wrong.
Thanks in advance for any help and clearing this up.

It's either 1 of 2 things:

1) it's a bug

2) it is possible to run into the old man by coincidence. maybe when you saw him it wasn't the time he was coming for you.

the old man will track you down and speak w/ you when he comes, without any action on your part.

You ran across someone else's "Old Man." This was a frequent occurance in the weeks following Publish 10, and still happens on occasion.

When he comes for you, he addresses you by name in spatial.

Did the same thing last night.

I jsut finished the village, and was about to go sit and rest and wait on him...shuttled to another city, and he was standing right in front of me...lol.

Kinda wierded me out for a sec, but it was someone else's old man.

Thanks for all the help. I hadn't read anything about issues like this so I was unsure of what it meant. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the right one then. Thanks.
