Thread: A Question about Post CU Nades
or you could just not cheat with the nade grind and get it the proper way through combat grind.
Yeah others in group will hate you for tossin a nade and runnin back to let them kill the beastie while you rake in XP. In fact, they may do what we did. Dude tosses a nade and runs back to let us fight. So we slowly work our way back to the nade tosser n runner then /peace the critter and run and he gets whacked and deathblowed by critter!! Hahaha.

I as told that nades are still a viable way to get xp in the Post CU world.
My question is, If I start off a fight with a nade, then kill it with swords or pike, will I get the full xp for the nade?

No old rules still apply. The best bet is to go with a grind group of friends. Throw one nade at the lair every once in a while and you will watch the combat xp roll on in. If you use a weapon like always the xp is shared with all weapons used. If you throw at the lair and you are with say a bunch of jedi friends that are spinning the lair you will always hit the lair and everything arround it. I say take a melee group so that all the critters are at the lair when you toss.

Ya know it is not a cheat. Also if you group with friends they should not mind you using nades to get combat xp for FS. I know my friends are the ones that turned me onto it. We all work together to get people what they need. It is like saying that if I need carbine xp I should not use my carbine in the group. They may not be doing much but hey help your friends out. One day you may need to do the same thing.
