Force Sensitive Archive

I went to the village because I was going to do the senses quest for phase one, tried talking to the lady, she told me I couldn't help her, she needed at least a master medic. OK, cool, I had to log anyway, so I ran back to the SO and logged. When I came back to the village later, planning on getting the combat quest since I have no interest in doin medic, the captain told me I was already on a quest for another villager. Even tho no quest shows up in my quest log, am I stuck needing to do the senses quest now?
