Just a warning for any non-combat types that get glowy. The sith shadow outlaws that come after the old man gives u the crystal r CL74. If they incap u say goodbye to your crystal for a day. The oldman will come again but so will they. Even if u kill them after they have incapped u your crystal is still gone and the data disk u loot doesn't work.

Yes, you lose the crystal on incap. However, it doesn't always take a day for the old man to come again. Mossie's Character was incapped several times as she was only BE with a small amount of pikeman mixed in. Each time it only took about 30 minutes for the old man to come to her again if she remained outside an npc city.

Today, myalternate accountcharacter got attacked by the sith and I ran into a few problems. Sometimes the waypont datapad will not work. You will recieve a message along the lines of, You have to loot this item before you can activate it. In this case I discovered that you have to kill both sith outlaws BEFORE looting the datapad in order to get a functioning waypoint. If this happens to you stay out of a city, they attacked me again within 30 minutes. One two seperate occasions. Although when mossie's character had this issue it took from 30 minutes up to a few hours before she was attacked again.

Secondly once you use the datapad to locate the sith encampment you might run into the despawning problem as I did. Thisis where the entire encampment despawns like the bug that affects mission terminal missions. You will also lose your waypoint indicator to the site. Waiting around will NOT cause the sith to attack again, nor will leaving the area and returning. Reason being is your quest is still active. Stay in the area, the site won't change. Simply log out and back in the game, the encampent will respawn instantly. So you might want to step back a 100 meters so you are not attacked while your character is loading. I was on Tatooine when this happened to me. It may not be as bad on other planets but the camp despawned 5 times before I could get inside and attack the sith. Once in combat however I did not have an issue.
