Well, everything depends on the reason why the grinders want to become a jedi. If the plan is to become über like in the movies then they have already wasted their time. such chars would never fit into the galaxy and I doubt they would be implemented.If your goal is to become the myth and make your own jedi destiny then the path is yours to take,however troubelsome the path might become.

I am well aware of the BIG issues which has come up because of the CU, but that still doesn't mean that jedi will be pointless or that they will suck in the end. We are still in beta and more or less everything can change yet.

So live the myth......I know I do

I myself am jedi atm non finished and i think im gonna quit when cu hits live, so i guess this must really suck for the FS grinders

thankyou for your insight, I unlocked for this very reason, i hope thatthisis the case with the CU and that it makes some shy away from doing it.

I will get my jedi after phase shifts about a week after the CU hits so I am just going to finish my FS before it hits,then screw around for a few weeks waiting on phases,then start the new game with a new jedi.

im in the same boat as oneBH i've been playing the game since day one as a crafter then got into combat about a year ago and havent looked back since, always wanted a jedi just to have one to mess around with and live in hiding like jedi should. The CURB might stear some away might not who knows but I know I will be there after the dust settles holding my lightsaber.

I have simular plans, always wanted to live the life of a Jedi, adventure, danger, suspence... /yoda "Excitment, adventure, hrmm a Jedi craves not these things, you are reckless!"
Anyways now I am trying to get as much FS xp as I can before CURB hits (which is tough since ive planed since close to release yet have only 2 boxes) However if anything they say on the Jedi Forums is ture and the devs stick to their word (elemental based saber damage for example) then we might just start this new life when the prof gets handed the wrong end of the saber if you know what I mean.

The Force is my ally, and a powerful ally it is...
