I never used any holocrons and i got 3 unlocks. It's not about how many holocrons you used, just about how many proffessions you got lucky with.

There were 8 professions that needed to be mastered to unlock Jedi.
How many of these 8 you mastered before Pub 10 i believe granted you a certain number of unlocks.
I forget what the actual numbers of professions to Unlocks were but the persont that posted the 12 profession thing is wrong.
Holocrons told you I believe 4 or 3 of the professions then would leave you to guessing the other 5.
They had to be part of the 8 that would unlock your Jedi to get the credit for the unlock just grinding our a profession doesn't.
To the orginal poster just grinding out 1 Holo Profession would get you No unlocks.
If you DO get the credit for the unlocks it allows you to unlock and Fill the entire branch at any time.

the progression was
1 holo = none
2 holo = none
3 holo= 1
4 holo =2
5 holo =3
6 holo = 4
7 holo = 5
8 holo = 6
only the first 4 would be told to you... if you had goten a silent holo you'd have 2 garenteed. I got lucky and had 4 unlocks so I picked 6 right outa 13 profs.

Aww, so if I didn't do any holocron runs back in the days before pub 10, and master those professions - I get absoloutely no extra character slots? Pfft..

that said you can NOT get any free unlocks now unless you did your holocrons before publish 10

rofl... I'd prefer have my character now, and have fun without a permi death than only have one shoddy character which requires watching his/her back for a year whilst grinding. Sigh, thanks for clarifying that.

You would get 32 badges... and that's all. Profs now bear no relationship to Jedi unlocking.
