My suggestion is to go out to dath or whichever "elite" planet you want and go out and walk around, and whack everything with your swordsman. Natural spawns are the best. Or you can always do solo groups if you wish to go that route and just take stuff like baz nitches or quenkers or whatever.

You could always top up the combat xp with C12 grenades. You wouldn't need to change template. Get a few crates of C12s. Put 3 stacks in your toolbar and tap the lair. Wait until all mobs are around and throw all 3 stacks AT the lair. Most will be down to half HAM then finish off with your favorite weapon. What this does is roughly triple the combat xp from the lair.

I did my FS grind with 2 branches totally unarmed, the third with c12s (which was far quicker), and the last 3 with imp dets (WAAAAYYYY quicker).

My advice if you don't want to switch templates, which would be silly for one tree, is to mix it up with some C12s. It will certainly help.

As for mobs - go with 11k Giant Baz Nitch Missions on Dath or 10k Hurrton Stalker Missions on Dant. ALWAYS go for the wild lairs of these creatures whenever you see them on your travels too.

I belive I might just be the only commando Fs grinding not for the use of nades, so I won't recomend it, I just get a buff and go out killing, simple really, don't forget , you get combat xp worth the same amount in FS for each creature

If you're not in a solo group, always make sure you're grouped with your droid or pet-- just tell it to 'stay' back at the starport -- to get the 15% xp groupbonus. I know some people just walk to the village and back, killing everything they find along the way.

The SWG Forums. You will never find a more wretched hive of

I did 2h for the first half of my grind, then did a combination of 2h and C12's to finish up. I found the C12 grind gave a little more Combat XP per buff. Doing 2h is quicker in that you're killing more lairs and less expensive since you don't have to buy nades. At one point, I wacked 9400 credit piket lairs on Dantooine to earn creds for my C12's Others will say they're both about the same as far as length of time doing it. For me, I felt it was more worthwhile doing the C12 grind because you receive more Combat XP, which has the 3:1 conversion ratio. I have the progress bars set up on my screen and it was a big morale booster during the grind to see that XP bar jump up after capping my Combat XP.

I would try both, see which you like better and just go for it.
