5. Is this the final rate of progression for gaining XP?

No, absolutely not. We realize that the current rate is too slow and we will be tweaking it over the next few weeks as work on balancing combat continues.

that was form blairs diary on the combat upgrade.....

so that means it will be a easyer grind

He may mean that for the CU (or CD as i call it) it is slower to get force xp, since everything is nerfed, right now its not that bad.

So if they make it easier its to compensate for the combat downgrade.

you guys are missing the point here. This is talking about CU beta. The xp was way too slow. They have increased the xp rate on TC5 for the purposes of testing. This is not a permanent change, will not be in the CU, and has nothing to do with FS grinding. It is FOR BETA ONLY.

Yes for the first bit,no no no no no no no .... no for the second bit

It's not for Beta only... the point of the TC test is to get everything right.. at the moment, they decided that the current xp rates were too low and n00bs would never be able to grind it successfully, so they're tweaking it to find a good level before it goes live

I completely disagree. I was able to level rifles 1 and 2 by killing 3 creatures. This xp level will not make it to live i guarantee it. It is possible to master a beginning profession on TC5 in half the time that you can do it on live, which is pretty damn fast. There is no way this is the final xp rate that we will see in the finished CU and if it is, the requirements will go up. I still hold to the fact that this boost is for testing purposes only. Expect it to change.

read the post before you comment. See the highlighted part? Now, I highly doubt they'll keep it as is and seriously, if they wanted to see how the higher profs work, then they'd allow us to train in them through the Blue Frogs (that's one of their purposes).
