Thread: Melee Speed Quest / Ranged Defence Quest

Ok for my next unlock in phase three i've got a choice between Melee Accuracy and Ranged Defence. I've read and been told that Melee Accuracy is increadibly hard and the accuracy bonuses don't really help as a Jedi. My question is do i get Melee Accuracy or take a much easier and equally useful quest in unlocking Ranged Defence?

My opinion here, do both. Sure you may have to wait longer for the phase to come around again, but it may be worth it when you are Jedi. I plan on getting all of the Enhanced reflexes done, and Melee Speed and Melee Accuracy. When I do get Jedi, Iam going to get the Melee and Ranged Defense lined there too. it just might save your butt when you are Jedi grinding and you become a mark for a BH.

Well the way i figure it. This line will be my sixth 
So i could finish it and be grinding Jedi and once the phase comes around again simply grab that line there and then. No real need to delay =)

Ranged Defence takes three days though dosen't it? I'm sure it's capped at three every 24 hours.

do melee accuracy. people say it is hard, but if you actually read a guide of how to do it with 2 of you, its actually quite easy (and there should be plenty of people to group up with on your server). ranged defense shouldnt help with the jedi grind. if you are grinding on things that are shooting you, then you are getting vis and are going to die soon.

Talking about Range defense... just to see if that's usefull also.
Is range defense used against a target shooting at me, or should I also reallyarm a range weapon to actually activate that range defense mod?

i haven't seen any of the FS walk throughs say who gives the ranged defence quest. anyone able to point me in the right direction? my last unlock and i can train immediately, then i'm jedi. FINALLY.

You better do Melee Accuracy next. It is probably the most difficult quest to do, out of all 16. The other most difficult quest would be the Phase 4 Ranged Accuracy and Melee Defence.
The reason why you should do this quest next is because with the upcoming CU, we don't how this is going to affect how we go about our normal tasks. Best unlock it as soon as possible. Next time around you could get Ranged Defence since its really not too difficult.
I was in your shoes last time Phase 3 was around. Another thing you want to do, if you haven't already, is bank all the FS xp you can.

Yep i'm currently beginning to store up XP for Melee Accuracy and if i'm really up for it i'll do the same of Ranged Defence.
