I have played the TC some tonight. I believe I am going to reserve judgement. I am still unsure but I did notice a few things that I liked. Many factors to consider...
I am wondering how fast and efficient a solid group can hunt...

I don't know that this is necessarily a problem. I mean the new people are going to be doing it the new way from the beginning so it will all just seem like "how it is supposed to be". Besides a lot of the new players will be coming from EQ2, WoW, etc. all of which have some striking similarities in game play (coincidence?) so I don't think they are going to be feeling all that much loss.
I think it will only be us old timers that remember "The good ol days" while the new peopleall wonder why we complain so much about getting killed checking our harvestors lol.

lol, but us old timers complain about the game now compared to what it was when it first launched anyway, so i guess things won't change TOO much...

I would also have to say to the ones who have been here for a while such as myself, but never got the chance to do the FS grind due to real-life obligations i.e., Iraq.
I was hoping I would be able to finish the village by December when I get back in July. From what I hear and read, it looks like I won't make Padawan till sometime next year. Deployments suck.

yeah considering what all i know about gaining xp...... they didnt just get the "new" players, they got ALL of the players, old and new. Dropping this expansion 10days earlier than advertised screwed everybody using the launch date as their time-table to complete what they were working on.

I only have 1 branch to go.
However, I won't let this CU deter me.
During double xp week, I will be launching a grinding squad.
I will help those poor souls who are stuck.
