Nothings impossible, it'll be a heck of alot more challenging probably but CU is still in testing so I'd hold my breath on peoples assumptions about an unfinished thing...as for FS skills...if you have 6 branches unlocked then yes you could bank xp if you grind away before the CU..if you haven't unlocked your branches...well given it's a 3 week wait minimum per phase to do a mission...your out of luck there

I did 5 branches in 2 weeks no grenades, no dueling rez. So it is highly possible.

with commando it can be done quite fast, if you have the time, you can do a branch in 2 days, but theese will be long days with several buffs. so get the time and it can be done in under 2 weeks

that is of course, only if you have those brancheas unlocked. if you are planning on unlocking around 3 or 4 trees.. The chances of you making it before CU are slim (do to the fact of having to wait for village phases.). but good luck.

1 branch in 2 days??

When I was doing my grind I was getting 300-400k fs xp a session, so 3-4 buff sessions and I filled a tree. I suppose it all boils down to his template and available time. If you are commando chucking nades at things work off a conservative estimate of 300 fs xp per buff session. That works out at just over 4 buff sessions per branch, and 20 more buff sessions should just about bank you all the xp you need.

All you gotta do is find the spare 60 hours from somewhere (with an estimated 16 days between now and CU you should easily do it with2 buffs per day).

If you are wondering about time, don't want to be a pansy by doing the death/rez trick, or be a commando and get lots of combat xp to make it quicker, then here is a little guide to put things into perspective if you did nothing but convert weapons and combat xp to force xp....

Max xp cap for any regular weapon = 900000 XP

Force XP granted from weapon xp cap = 900000/30 = 30000 Force XP

Combat xp gained with the 900k weapons xp = 90000 XP
(combat xp cap is significantly higher)

FS XP granted from 90k combat xp = 90000/3 = 30000 Force XP
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Total Force XP for one weapon xp cap = 60000 Force XP

Total Force XP to obtain one novice FS box = 50000 Force XP
Total Force XP to fill up one FS Tree = 1225000 Force XP

Min. XP for 6 trees (2 novice boxes) = 1225000*6 = 7350000+100000 = 7450000 Force XP
Max. XP for 6 trees (4 novice boxes) = 1225000*6 = 7350000+200000 = 7550000 Force XP

Lets say you are able to get your xp capped for one weapon during one buff cycle, this includes 900k weaspons xp, plus the 90k combat xp(granted most people can do more than this in 3-3.5 hours, but i'm counting travel time, and musician buff time as well).....

Min. Force XP / Total Force XP (from above)
-----------------------------------------------------------
7450000/60000 = 124.166 * 2 to 3 hours = 248.332 to 372.498 hours

Max. Force XP / Total Force XP (from above)
-----------------------------------------------------------
7550000/60000 = 125.833 * 2-3 hours = 251.666 to 377.499 hours

Based on the information above, in terms of the time it would take to get Jedi Initiate from the time you enter the village, it would take you anywhere from 248-377 hours or approximatly 14 to 16 days of nonstop playing time.

So to answer your question, the expansion/CU comes out in 16 days (assuming it's released on time). If you played constantly for 14-16 days and were able to find a doc and entertainer to buff you every few hours as well as go without sleep....yea, you could do it.

If you get commado 4000 you can a tree in 12.5 max xp you can get a tree so if you max xo 3 times per buff it'll take 15h, but if you can max more time than 3 times in a hour than itd take less time...so pretty much if you have no school or no work and you have no life for a whole week adn all you do is grind FS xp yu can get enough for jedi....sucks for me tho i can only play on weekends , and were going to have phase 4 during the CU *cry*

What profession(s) are you using to grind with? I used TK/Fencer and could trade in about 121-124k worth of fs xp, that's capping both professions, and getting the combat xp along with it (came out to be about 185k of combat xp on each 2 profession cap), on a good day I could have upto 4 trade in's on just 2 buff sessions, rl has a way of interfering with things, so I could trade in about 490k of fs on good days, on bad days it would be about 2 trade ins (was slow if the squill cave was occupied with jedi or others working for fs xp), not bad but still kept me going, plus knowing I still could take my time on waiting for phase 4 (which is where I'm at now).

um... 5 x 300,000 = 1,500,000

That is combat xp...

break that down into combat xp

1,500,000/3 = 500,000 fs xp.

so, you're saying capping 5 times per buff session, grinding 15 mil a day, your days must be at least 99 hours long...

How did you do that? Doesn't seem possible. You've must of played about 10 hours a day?
