With the coming of the Combat Upgrade many of us were heartbroken to see our grenades being turned into rocks. When this occured many of us turned to just capping out weapons xp. This worked, but wasnt the most efficient way to go about the grind. Next comes along the guy who figures if you just chuck a grenade on the whole mob everything would work out well. This works, but it pretty much makes the group do all the work. Now, comes along the way that is fair to your group.
1. Ariving: When you arrive to your mission, do not throw a grenade. Instead, wait for your group to rally up and get ready to pull.
2. Starting: Start by killing the initial swarm of npcs or creatures by doing the normal 1 pull at a time method.
3. Respawn: Shoot the lair so that they will begin to respawn, a couple of shots will do.
4. Grenade Time: When the pickets begin to spawn 1 at a time, grenade the one that spawns first.
5. Waiting: After throwing your grenade at the first respawned animal or npc, wait for your group to finish it off or wait for the 2nd one to spawn and begin killing it with your normal weapon as you wait for your grenade timer to reset so you may "chuck another."
6. Be Prepared: After you start attacking the 2nd and your group starts to fire on it with you, be prepared for another to spawn as you may possibly be able to throw a grenade at if depending on the time it takes. Most times you can get a grenade kill for every 2-3 respawned pickets.
7. Find Comfort: With this method your group will cease to get upset with you for not doing jack squat. You will be respected, and your group will last for a long while. You will get tons of xp, whilest keeping the group strong. Good luck, and good hunting!
This guide was made just because im tired of watching people use grenades and screwing over the group. This is my personal method, if your tired of the constant nade spamsfollowed by a herd of pickets or bols stomping on the one guy who threw it just so he could go sit, refer him to this thread.

Best thing to do would be to First ask the group if they mind you nade grinding as the chance to pull the aggro is still very high with a mistimed throw. As said many will get pissed if you dont do anything but cause an aggro and slow the group down while they have to save you.

Thank you for posting this, as this is how I use grenades. I have never gotten the group mobbed and have never gotten myself incapped. Today I had one of the people that threw a nade at the lair and then after the incap watched as we killed and got him massive exp. I swear to God that everyone that does this to me on Bria will find themselves hunted mercilessly as a Jedi by my guild members.

With another chance of respecing and many people asking what template to use I figured I should say I used Master BH Master Carbineer Master Marksman + FS Skills with this method and it worked lovely.

My method, when my group starts hitting the first creature i hit my burst run get 30 m away from lair and hit it with a nade and run as fast as i can, i lose aggro and no one gets hurt in my group. and i get a ton of combat exp.

yes but then you dont attack the lair at all and so basically if the group was full then its a group of 7 instead of a group of 8. Thats why i wrote this, to stop people like you.

no no, sorry i didn't type my whole method, upon nading the lair you will aggro uhh well whatever the amount thats spawned and thus get combat exp off them. Take out your rifle or whatever gun you use, you will notice the lair spawning more creatures, when your group targets those you shoot at those, of total creatures spawned per lair you will help your group kill roughly 75% of the creatures spawned with your gun. You will make good combat experience and you will make good other weapon experience.
