The player that best understands when the Village shifts best (SSSnuggles who updated a sticky that told us when the village was going to shift accrete to with in a day or 2) has left the game so I am going to try and explain the best I can:

The exact model the devs use to shift the village is not known but we have a fairly good idea. It is better to think of the village changing not as a date on a calendar but as a set of conditions that allow it to change.

Conditions for a village shift
1.Must have been 21 days (3 weeks) since the last shift (except for when shifting to phase 1, seems to take longer than 21 days, around 25 days)

2.Your server must have a sever restart, note: sever crashes count and have been know to shift the village

Best way to predict a village shift is to count 21 days from the last shift and then find out when the next restartfor your sever is after that date(happens 3 times a week, unless there an update or problem with your sever).

I've recreated the post from SSSnuggles (as i also got permission from Baciacca)... it is in the stickies above... "We are in Phase ..."

Valcyn: Etevei Iomag (CL 90 Jedi/Master Ace Smuggler Pilot), Ordio (Master Trader-Engineer)
Valcyn #2: Eppav Iomag (CL75 Smuggler), Yve Iomag (Master Entertainer). Living in Galatorbria, Rori.
Vendor located just outside of Restuss at (/wayp 4878 6375) - Spice, Looted Weapons, Armor, Buff Items and other Misc items. This is also the drop off location
Sunrunner: Mumybecca (CL 14 BH).

Its no problem.... in fact, i'm going to change the second post andupdate it with an FAQ for easier reading soon... I'm just gathering all the Q's and when i think i have everything i need i will post it (or i'll post any new Q's afterwards)... lol..
