Thread: Any way to reset Vehicular Control Quest???

That happend to me to while doing the vehicle quest I dont know how to reset the quest but what I did was drive around the waypoint and then I got credit for the quest

When I did it that happend to me two maybe even three times. I had to go back and ask Whip for a new beacon each time.

When you're driving around looking for the downed ship, do you have the detailed overhead map displayed? (CTRL + M) You can easily see the downed ship as a green square. For me it was not further than 300m from the waypoint everytime.

I have the overhead map on...and I've looked everywhere. I created a grid from the original beacon wp and searched out to 2000m in every direction (creating grid wp's every 200m). Within 300m I ran around and killed every thing i saw hoping that clearing out wild spawns might get it to show up. As for getting a new wp.....I can't. When I talk to Whip I get no options at all. I get the chat bubble telling me to go find the supplies. If I chat with him repeatedly I will catch a glimpse of what is probably the options window every few tries....but it dissappears to quickly that i can barely make out what it is....let alone read / select anything. I've submittted a ticket....but was hoping someone had a workaround

I had one that was invisible. I was just driving around the area hoping it would spawn and suddenly got the mission completed message.

I'm on the third trip to find the downed supply ship and it is not spawning. I did a search grid out to 2k in all directions, brought rangers to track for me, and I've got nothing. The ship will not spawn. I read in the FAQ that you can reset the mission with Whip, but all he tells me is that I should goand findthe supplies. How do you go about resetting the mission?
Just read in another thread that you can ask for another wp......I'm not getting that option, or any others.....just the default waiting for me to complete the mission response.

When you get the "invisible ship" syndrome, do expanding circles around the marker WP with a radius of 260m - 320m (if I remember correctly). You will eventually run over the spot and get the mission complete message.

I just had the same thing happen to me. Got the "invisible ship", ran circles at 15m intervals from 260m outward, finally got the message "your journal has been updated" at the 305m ring. Thanks for the great info on it.

Did you delee the Endor WP before you went to Whip to ask him for another one?
