hi i was afk for like 2 minutes reading the forums, and i guess the sith came, incapped me and took the crystal, i came back killed em both but got nothing, and apparently i have lost the crystal from the told dude. I'm pretty pissed but oh well. A couple of questions tho, now the old man..... does the whole process start over? wait for the man then the sith? or will he come quicker now or what?

Yeah, wait for the old man again...it seems as though he comes back faster the second time around, but its still just random...could be up to 72hrs again.

I think this thread should be titled "Damn Forums". Afterall, Sith were just doing there job.
When I was waiting for Old Man and Sith, I didn't go afk and defintely didn't alt+tab to desktop, I was way too paranoid that I would miss old man, or get incapped by Sith.

Similar. Night before last, i apparently forgot to logoff. For some reason the server didn't reset, and even though i was just standing in front of my house, i never auto-logged. So i got home yesterday and there i still was!
I was sure that at some point over the last 16 hours i was probably attacked and robbed of my crystal, but nope, still there.
Sadly, an hour later when the sith did attack (i logged and shuttled and stuff), i was brain-dead for the first 30 seconds and the second one managed to incap me before my stim worked. I got back up and killed him of course, but it was too late. So then, like less than 60 seconds later, along comes the old man again! Talk about good timing. Needless to say, when i logon at home tonight, i'll have an alt guarding my back and those sith are good as dead.

me i got a ding from yanoo messanger from my brother, i was chatting away when i hear "ugh" and the sounds of battle....
i even turned around to see what was on the TV when a bolt of insight hit my brain and i alt tab'd back to find my life cut in half....
luck was with me and a stim and some running like a pansy got me healed then i finished them off...
