Thread: Respec Options

I didn't know where exactly to post this, but I am thinking I'll get the most helpful answers here since it pertains most to getting "glowy"....Alrighty, logged on last week after not logging into SWG since sometime late March, got the respec option, which i used to transfer the points from TKA (2 boxes from master) to BH, and now I'm a BH/Commando. The badges I currently have are leaving me at "surging" and I'm confident that all I will need is the profession badge to get to "glowy" status, however here is where my problem comes in..no profession badges show during respec periods, I have no way of cancelling the respec period and I'll apparently have to wait out 2 more weeks before a profession badge will even appear on my character sheet. Now for my question, does anyone know a way to end the respec period, or know a solution to my problem here? Any and all help is welcome, thanks.

You're screwed. There is no way to end the repec period early. In fact, you should start praying that you don't get stuck in perma-respec mode like some other people (for example, an alt of mine can not get any profession badges atm due to the bugged token respec but there's other bugs with the regular CU respec, too, that prevent players from earning prof badges) so... good luck

What you can try, although i don't know if it will work or not, is to send an in-game ticket to SWG saying you want your respec turned off. You have to do it in the game though or else they for sure won't even answer it. Tell them that you've used your respec function and have your character the way you want and that you don't need it anymore. Tell them this is a very professional manner and they might just turn it off for you.. Some people it has worked for, others not. It worked for me but I was only a few days away from my respec being turned off anyway. Give it a try, can't hurt.

That sounds like a good idea. Plus remember, don't use your Token Respec just to get rif of it, since Prof Badges will be awarded with Token intact with Pub. 20, which is due shortly I believe.
