Thread: Holocron and force sensitive slot

I was just wondering what is necessary to be given a force sensitive slot. Along time ago i got a holocron and used it to see that i needed to be a master smuggler as my first profession. How many holocrons do you need to use and how many professions do you need to master for the slot?
Also, my respec is messed up and it still allows me to respec every 12 hours so i was wondering if it is possible to respec to master smuggler and then use a holocron to see what the next profession i need is.
Do i only need to master these 2 or3 professions for the slot?
Any help is greatly appreciated
p.s. If i have not mastered smuggler yet and i use a holocron, will it still reveal that i need master smuggler, or will it say the next profession i need to master?

Holocrons don't work anymore. You need to become "Glowy" to be a Jedi and get your second slot. There are numerous guides on how to get glowy,. Here is a very goodone by Ithiris. http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=Forcesensitive&message.id=18

how do i get my first slot? by mastering smuggler?
and if i can still respec and its not giving me the badges will that have an effect on it?

There is no first slot and you can't do anything with your holo profession. Look at the guide and follow it, you could master smuggler if you wanted because you must master any 1 profession as a requirement for glowing.

as an aside. The old blue holocrons that we got as a christmas gift - they regenerate force? I have a whole bunch of these laying around ( did some cross server trades) . Are they worth anything ( not trying to make this a trade forum ) just curious since it came up.

I heard they are worth around 300-600k because now they restore a jedi's force bar fully and instantly.

They're not worth 300-600k. It's more like 100k-200k, and yes they regen your force bar fully but you can only use one a day.

If you have 2 holocrons and use 1 on date A then you can not use another one until date B and once you use the holocron it disappears.
