Thread: I don't suppose the PHase 4 changes will be retroactive...

Taken from the test center patch notes:



Changes to Phase 4 of Captain Sarguillo’s Quest: Force Village



  • Players can now take part in the Captain’s phase 4 quests even if they have taken the quest in a previous attempt to complete the Phase 4 quests.
  • Improved quest journal conversation text.
  • Added animations to accompany certain dialog lines.
  • Added quest reward item for Melee Defense quest.

I don't suppose this reward will be retrocative to those of us that did the Melee Defense quest two phases ago...

er . . . which dev am I tracking lol cause I'd like to know.


I'm not overly upset but seeing how you can only do the quest once in the character's lifetime . . it just seems unfair that because we came first, we can't reap the new rewards.

Note the first line... Oh wait... that looks different than i thought... what about those that have already completed the quest?


"In a previous attempt to complete"... does that mean if you didn't finish it in the last phase 4, that you should be able to take the quest this coming phase 4?

The reward, as per a dev in regards to the item given in the melee defence reward item:


The item is a 5 use +10 to melee defense buff(the Melee Defense equivalent of the reward item given for Ranged Defense in Phase 3), and will not be granted retroactively.


I'm just the messenger... this is what was said about the item...

Ah, figures I missed it in the Dev tracker.


Oh well, doesn't look to be that big of a loss... though something like a color crystal,or a different sculpture section than 3 would have been nice.
