I've read that it does work and i've read it does nothing. Those that say it does work usually report only an increase in credits. Although, one poster (can't remember who) brought up a good point. It could be possible that, while it does not seem to increase the frequency of dropped items, it could slightly increase the quality of the drop. (Ex. Higher durability, slightly higher dps, etc) If this were true it would be very hard to verify and could go unnoticed (which would explain why people say it does nothing). In any event, it doesn't seem to have a significant effect on much of anything. The only real reason I can see to take this skill is if you're the opptomistic type who can keep faith they'll make this skill more worthwhile in the future.

I have luck (not just the irish kind) and i can tell no difference to be honest.
