If you are cl 80 and on Dantooine at the Mining Outpost, you will have no trouble getting group invites.

I usually have to wait about 2-3 max to get a group, and often times Ill get an invite offer without having to ask.

Yeah I am a CL 80, I suppose I can use the Dant MO.

I was just under the impression once everyone hits jedi padawan they go to wookie world to avoid the the friendly Bounty Hunters.

Becoming FS is just the start. You have a long way to go before you finish the FS boxes and become a padawan. You will not need to worry about bounty hunters until after you have done

1) the FS grind and gotten your 6 full branches and

2) gotten your jedi initiate and finished the padawan trials.

If by solo you mean mainly the phase quests? Then.. yes.. it can be done depending on the quests you plan to do. As far as grinding the exp.. that also depends on the exp you plan to convert. However in any case you are most likely going to have to have SOME player interaction. If that is what you are worrying about?
