Thread: FS Skills: What they do

In addition to the neat guides could one of our resident jedi masters enlighten us sub-initiates: What exactly do the FS skills do for you? Yea sure I get the melee defense and such. What is luck? Is that a purely crafter thing? What about persuation? Am I gonna get to do the old, "these aren't the droids you are looking for," thing or what is it? Might be handy to persuade Rancors that BHs taste better than jedi? Better yet zap a CSR with, "you actually want to find me the answerand fix it, not feed me a line."
Seriously could someone tick of the odd FS skills and what they do?

My personal opinion is they really do not do much as far as your jedi skills, which will far surpass them. But, in combination with your non-fs skills, they are quite nice.

I believe ya that they are relatively worthless for the Jedi. As for us FS types, what do they DO? Not the combat stuff as that obvious. What about Luck and Persuation? That sort of thing?

I'm not sure, but someone in game told me that luck allows you to loot very rare loot items. In addition, he said that some of the loot items in the game are so rare that you cannot loot them at all without having +4 luck. Some examples he mentioned are some sort of oils required by armorsmiths to craft the weird bounty hunter armor. I'm not sure what he's talking about as I haven't read about that armor, but I've seen people wearing it and stuff. It's like the R.I.S. armor I think.
