Thread: Tips on a good future Jedi template

Hi guys, I needed a few questions asked that have been bothering me a bit these past few days.

I just received "glowy" status about 1 1/2 days ago, and haven't been met yet by the Old Man. I know he's going to come sooner or later, and that I have to be in a non-NPC city, but are there any ways to speed up this process, and will he just appear out of nowhere?

My second question is concerning my template. I've mastered the Teras Kasi profession but I don't know what to pair up with it. I've been told doing Master Teras Kasi/Master Swordsman/and Doctor 4-0-0-0 is good, but I've also heard that just Master TK/Master Doctor is also a good template, as well as Master TK with some Pikeman. However, I've heard from a few others that Combat Medic is a lot better than Doctor, so I'm wondering which path would make the transition from being a normal character into Jedi the smoothest and probably have the greatest enjoyment factor with it as well.

Thanks.

My alt is Master Ranger/Rifles, and when I go hunting with him he caps scout xp round about the same time he caps rifle xp. With a 1.2mill scout xp cap and 1:8 conversion that 150k senses xp in the bag.

I haven't done Doc/CM but I hear you get good xp rates in groups also. I think the trick is to pick up another proff which will allow you to collect double amounts of xp while hunting. Then you cap pretty quickly but cap 2 different types of xp.

I can't be the only seeing the flaw in the game design when someone can play for a couple of months and be in the village ding quests. The devs are so stupids someone needs to fire all of them and hire people with common sense.

This is all part of the content of the game. He chose to do jedi before visitng Kashyyyk, and doing space etc. He also has a nice grind to look forward to as well.

And for poster below. It's spelt grammar. So don't be so quick to correct others.

i never sad that the orginal poster was a bad speller or that i was a good speller.

insipid rants that contain nothing helpful or useful arent productive. its very easy to say that soe sucks or that the developers are stupid (or stupids.) its a good measure more difficult to post an intelligent idea or constructive criticism. im not sure if NACHODEWI is young or lacks the ability to clearly and concisely express himself, but he is a prime example of why our voices are often ignored.

Just to keep it rolling.

My thoughts exactly. You could not have proved your own point better in your own rant.

Back to the original post: As far as your jedi template, it is really a matter of what you are looking for in your jedi. If you are looking to be awesome with your saber, or heal people, and so on. I recommend that you go to http://www.bloodfin.org/modules/mydownloads/ , and download that profession calculator there. It tells you the branches and boxes and what they give you, and adds it all up, very very helpful. Good luck.
