For those of you that are Jedi and use a Lightsaber regulary does this Tree in Combat Prowess branch actually make a big difference for you in combat.
Reason I ask is, this particular tree would take me an additional 13-14 weeks of waiting to get, it would be my 6th skill, but damn thats like nearly 4 months away and I don't know if I can wait that long.

no, citrus snow cake, chef food 40% accuracy, makes all the difference. melee speed and accuracy do not work with lightsabers, lightsabers are not melee weapons. The only melee mod that helps, is melee defence when defending against a LS attack. But the village mods for melee weapons do not stack for lightsaber when you are jedi.

It's probably the most useful skill (only because melee speed will cap when you hit Master Lightsaber). Is it necessary? No. Does it make your grind go easier in the early stages? Yes! Lightsaber acurracy sucks. At first, you'll be lucky to hit 1 in 4 attempts. If you think your current grind is long, wait until you get to padawan and your back to killingkuudu and gettingaround 100 jedi xp per kill. It's 3 MILLION xp per branch and 3.2 MILLION for the master box. Everything you can do now to imrove your grind, take advantge of.
And BTW, while your waiting, hunt crystals. It's hard to hunt NPCs when you are a padawan. A lot of people spend time grinding their alt just to do this. Crystal tuning is random. If you have a bunch or power crystals, you can tune until you get a decent one that will get you more speed and lower force cost. This will make a world of difference grinding.

Can anyone confirm if the melee accuracy quest is behaving better? Have they fixed any of the problems with the commander, or are you still really limited to the closest base and alittle luck?
I'm planning on trying this quest tonight with a guildie.

The commander does not walk up hills. The first time I tried it we were 100m away from the base with 7 minutes left on our timer and the commander died. We had the 2nd closest base. Then after that I was helping someone else do it and their commander just stopped then disappeared even though he was within 8m of the person he was following and he did not try to run. They had the closest base. There have been COUNTLESS tickets sent in on these issues and there has been nothing done about it. Btw if something happens when you do the mission don't bother going to chat to ask for something to be done about it... or put in a ticket. The CSR's will do NOTHING about it. They will merely tell you to put in a bug report. It is ridiculous.
