Thread: 2 months of nading...6 million credits on nades...for what...
But my prof grind was fun, not many people I know who did the village grind said they had fun. When the game is no longer fun perhaps it's time to try a new one. I had 5 accounts, now I just play my chef because it's the only real fun I have in SWG after the revamp. It's weird after playing no less than 5 hours a day for the last 1.5 years, but things change. I couldn't get enough SWG before the revamp.

Well as someone who started SWG a few months after the Holo grind and towards the begining of the villiage quests I can sympothise with you. I remember reading on the forums of everyone complaining about how easy it is for people to get Jedi with the "new" system, and how long it took for "them" to hologrind Jedi. I remember doing my first few villiage quests and grinding xp to convert, thinking how lucking people who could afford nades were and wondering just were in the hell all this money they spent came from. I grew dishearted and stopped the jedi grind untill just this week. My growing frustration with the numerous mission bugs in kashyyyk, and other bugs introduced in the game had me ready to quit. But with the comming of double xp week I've gone from almost a year vet with 2 boxes of the 24 filled to being halfway through the grind. More than likely once the Jedi trials are complete I will start to grow weary of the constant unkept promises and false advertising and slowly ween myself off of SWG. But there is still a great deal to enjoy about the game......for now.
And yes, I would deff sign up for SWG-2.
What I always found effective (and not as much burden for my group)
- Do normal kills until you max out weapons exp
- Use Nades to then max out combat exp
- Trade-in and repeat
This is especially helpful for me being a MBH...max out three types of weapons exp along with Combat exp..I trade-in and fill up at least two blocks.
