Thread: Unlocking during the village phases after jedi changes?

Please forgive my ignorance in advance.
I had been playing since beta, and a while ago decided it was time to take a break. I recently came back after hearing good things.
My question is, if you start a new character, and go through the force sensitivity process, can you still gain unlocks in the phase 1234 process or are you stuck for the entire duration of that process?

Sry, not sure I understand the question, but, there is a good stickie up top that explains the whole process from getting glowie to padawan

Yeah I have read through it, but here is what I don't understand.
Before, you were required to master professions in order to gain the force sensitivity slot.
Now your chaacter assumes that roll upon unlocking. Depending on whether or not he had mastered professions that would have unlocked him under the old system, he would gain advantages during the village part of the whole newprocess right?
So my question is.... can you still obtain FREE unlocks during the village portion of the force journey by mastering your hidden professions?
Example:
My character is brand new since coming back. If I master a ton of professions now, and then gain force sensitivity, would he still be able to obtain some of those FREE unlocks from the one guy in the village?

No your character has to be pre pub 10 to have a chance to unlock free branches. You lose?

No, you only get free unlocks if your character was created before the change to the village system.

Was a simple question merely seeking a simple answer. I don't understand the reasoning for including the "You lose?"
