why we have to wait forever for an old man to show up and y he doesnt show up sooner or more often. Im not complaining im just saying there hasnt been an explination on y we are waiting we just r... waiting... forever..........(falls asleep at comp waiting for the old man to come to a player built city in the middle of nowhere)

Anakin: What does that have to do with anything???
Yoda: Ev-ery-thing. Fear is the path to the Dark Side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suf-fur-ing... I sense much fear in you.

The reason for the wait, IMHO:

The wait is connected with the wait for the visit with the old man the first time around. If there are too many people in the village, you will not see the old man for a while. This applies to both the entry and exit visits.

Just be patient and he will come to you. It may take an hour or it may take a week. But it will happen.

Just do stuff. He'll show up when you least expect it.

Completely wrong. He's in the hospital because I had to take my frustrations out on SOMEBODY because I couldn't take this phases Capt, Sarguillo quest (took ranged last phase). He was the one who set me on this path, so I figured he'd be the best target. Doctors are saying he should be out in a couple of months, once he relearns how to eat solid food and relearns how to walk

Not a good idea, mate. If you go AFK, keep an examine window or your inventory or the Bazaar menu open too long while it covers your screen,

or whatever and you may miss the Old Man completely. Then you'll have to wait longer for him to come see you.

I suggest going on a location badge hunt while waiting for the Old Man, if you have any more location badges to get. That's what I did and he visited me

at the Rori Outpost Starport in an NPC city a few minutes after I arrived by Shuttle. It worked well. I became glowey, received my Old Man visit approximately

24 hours later, then got my Sith Shadow Ambush again, approximately 24 hours after the Old Man visit.

As stated before, be patient.
