I'm Master smuggler/Master pistoleer with 4/0/0/4 TKA and Novice Medic.

I had 3 free unlocks fromt he holo grind and i ahve 3 branches to go. i actually havn't been to the village since then due to a few reasons but i'm just wondering how long it would take my template to get the last 3 branches. I'd like to unlock a free character. and was wondering if i could drop my main down to 4 FS lines nad still have my second slot.

Also can i turn that second slot into a Jedi? Yes i know i'd have to do double the grind but this is all hypothetical remember.

Thank you.

Alpha:

ok, let's say you began to finish your grind as of the 1st day of phase 1 when it rolls around.
If you grind out and cap your weapons xp at least once a day, then you will have enough fs xp to fill the tree you unlock for phase 1.
So to fill 3 more trees you could fill them in 9 weeks if you need to wait for phase changes to unlock new trees.
And you won't need to change to commando to do this either.

To get your second char slot:

Finish the grind, then do the Jedi Padawan trials. Once you've completed these and become a Padawan, you will have access to a 2nd slot.
From there, create 2nd char.
You should then be able to drop all Jedi and FS trees on your first slot.
And then if you wish to make your 2nd char slot a Jedi, you can freely regrind that char to do so.

Yup yup. You always have to have 6 branchesof fs skills to maintain the 2nd slot.

This is incorrect. Once you hit Padawan and unlock your free slot, you cannot drop FS skills. In doing so, you forfeit the second slot.

Yup you have to keep at least 6 branches (24boxes) or lose it

So if we drop those FS skills and lose the second slot...who would do this? It may actually be better since it free's up some extra skill points for a complete Jedi Template........something to think about.....besides grinding Jedi is a full time thing who has time for a second character...any thought's on this?

You cannot drop FS skills and stay a Jedi, either. These are like pre-reqs for Jedi.
