Howdyall first i just want to say that i am not a jedi i am the person that looks at yall and says "god i wish i had the time to go jedi". I have been playing swg for almost 6months and just the other day i the old man came to talk to me(was not even planning on it..he just showed up). And at the time my mind was filled with all the dreams of one day having a jedi of my very own. But then reality set in and i started the think of the 6months the fs quest would take and the massive amountof time and xp it would takefor a full jedi template. Ok now that stupid question after my sad "i do not have the time to go jedi" story how long did it take yall to go jedi? And after the fs quest how long would it take to grind a template. I really want to go jedi but atm my time in swg is at the most 1hour a day with the weekends being the only days i can play nonstop.

Over 500+ days of playing and I still have 2 more boxes to grind, then I get to start on the actual Padawan grind, so I'm thinking another 500+ days for that.

I have my unlocks and began to get serious about grinding ... I figureI'll be done the weekendafter the next Phase 1 starts. I still have to grind some Sense XP after my Combat and Reflex XP, and I'm not sure I'd want to do that in the village with the attacks ongoing.

I'm playing this game since week 1 and wanted to be jedi. I did the hologrinding, did the village grinding and will unlock as soon as phase 1 starts.
You will need exactly the amount of time, you are willing to invest. Just don't look at it as a constant grinding. When the new unlock system came in, I did phase 1 and 2, skipped 3 and 4 and the other 1 and 2. So you can say, I skipped 12 weeks of the village. I bought JTL in the meantime, master shipwrighter and enjoyed that business. Than it got me again and I rushed through 4 branches.
cheers

I can keep up with the FSXP requirements in one buff session per week.
It's possible - look around this forum and you'll see how.
You'll still have to wait untill 6 phases have come around. Phases 3 and 4 are great fun though.

I only really started grinding jedi about a month ago. Im pistolero/commnado. I prefer thermals w/ pups. (w/o tails ;-) After u get glowy u can do the village quests. U can pretty much do the quests one buffset each. So that is 6 buffsets if everything runs perfect. I avg 300k fs exp per buffset. Well i didnt do the math but i think that is 20 buffset more or less for all the experiance u need. 30-35 crates of thermal and pups should be good. A few sets of armor are needed (don bother with slicing armor for grinding, to save time). 26 buffsets in the span of 18 weeks you should get pretty close to initiate. btw bank ur experiance and keep ur template in tact until u have all ur experiance u need.
Im almost there gl to u.
