Ok i've been playing since day one and finally decided a week ago to go after jedi. So far i have melee speed/acuracey and melee defence unlocked, but only three skills in melee speed. Any way i was wondering if when you got your boxes if you went skill by skill or got all the level 1 boxes, then 2, ect. Random but i just wanted to know. Also i was wondering if anyone did the grind all with weapon/combat xp. as in no grenades and how long it took yah. Thanks

I'm training as I go. Once I have to give up skill points of my grinding i'm going to bank my exp. Got all my skill's I want unlocked, just need to buckle down and grind. I suggest you go the same route.

I had 3 free unlocks but did the other three without gernades. ImadePadawanin January. I don't recall when the revamp was rolled out(Sept? Oct?)

I kept TKM and Master Fencer throughout the entire grind. I spent 3-4 hours a day 4 days a week maxing both skills (900K ea+120K combat) once a day (sometimes 2xs on weekends) and it took me 3 1/2 months to finish.

It could have been completed sooner but I ran into a point where trees were "banking" faster than I could unlock them. Thus i was required to wait for phase shifts, slowing down the process.

I'm not using grenades, and I'm a master pikeman/swordsman/TK. I've unlocked 5 branches, but of the 5, 4 of them are of the 6 that I actually want. When I did the math, for myself, each branch would take me between 6 and 7 times (closer to 7)to max out. Each time I max, and convert, I get 180k FS xp. I max out at least 3 times a week, usually during the weekend since school and work take up my weekdays. But, with those 3 masteries, I was left with 4 skill points, which I used on melee speed. Melee speed actually does allow you to kill a little faster, and it is noticable, to me at least. Since kill faster, I convert quicker as well. And now, as I'm out of skill points to learn any more FS skills at the moment, I'm just banking the xp until I have all the xp I need to learn the rest of my skills.

So yeah, I think it does benefit people more when they complete a branch one at a time. Melee speed helps me grind quicker.
