I'm currently waiting for the intial Sith attack before i eventually get to the villiage. Once I'm at the village. For those of you that have been doing these questis for a while to unlock various braches...Are the quests to unlock certain branches solo'able, or are friends needed.

All of the quests are solo'able, if you have an elite profession. You do need certain skills to do some of the quests, e.g Master Medic, Novice Artisan - but thats only if you want to unlock those particular skills. If you only have combat you can still unlockthe 6 branches you need to progress.

Some of them are easier as a group though, I am thinking of the Phase 1 quest where you have to kill 50 siths, 25 of which have to be Pirates. Although you can do this on your own, you only have to register a hit and as long as the Sith gets killed by somone it adds to your total. So if there is a group of you its a lot quicker to land a few hits rather than having to kill each sith on your own. But you will probably find there will be a group there when you go which you can join.

If you are taking some friends with you they need to be Force Sensitive or they won't be able to get to the village (There is a wall of fog surrounding it that only FS people can pass)

Check out the Stickies above as each phase and quest if explained

I've done all my 5 branchesin solo except for the Melee quest in phase 3 (the one with the capturing of the commmander) since that one give you an extra reward if done in group . So to answer your question. Yes its very doable but its get harder the closer to phase 4.

I am sure you were already aware ofmost of that but hope it helps! I am Master Pistoleer with Bounty and Smuggler pistols and I have had no problems so far doing the quests on my own..... aprt from the time in Phase 1 when I was the only person at the Village and the Sith all spawned at my exact spot... 5 Sith thugs attacking you at once does nasty things to your HAM

Ok now i'm somewhat lost here... I've already been to the village, seen the village elder who sent me to see Whip. I completed that quest to find and save all of the imprisoned villagers. So i got the unlock for FS survival. Which tree is it that i need to get FS xp in to train for the survival?

I supported the old system, but it didn't help. I now support working with the devs to try and make the new game something we'll enjoy.

Survival is part of theEnhanced Reflexes tree. You want to convert your xp to this. It's a little confusing at first. You need 50k of reflex xp before you can train and see the tree. This is like the bottom box of all the elite professions. You need to fill the starting box before you go up the branches. If you go to the skill box page and show all professions, you canselect the Enhanced Reflexes tree and it will become more obvious.

most of them are soloable except the one where you have to escort the commander back to the village, that one is pretty tough to do, although im sure there are gonna be responses to this postby some leet uber SWG dudes who will say the solo'd it no prob.

all the quests are soloable, with the exception of phase 3. The reason I single out phase 3, is that if you do it solo, you will not be able to acquire a nice Focus buff crystal. If you don't care about cool loot, then go ahead and chose the quest as a solo mission. FYI, the crystal loot on my server just sold for 10mio credits. you can do a search of our trade forums for mind buff crystal if you don't believe it. Anyway, the choice is yours, but take it from some one who did it in a group, the feeling upon completion itself is worth it. That is the beauty of MMOs, that you can share a sense of accomplishment together, and cheer for one another when its all said and done. my 2 creds
