Ok, so heres my situation. I have 6 branches unlocked, but there is a seventh and possibly more I would like to unlock. However I have been told by fellow players that you cannot unlock anymore braches once you reach Padawan.
If this is true, can I still convert xp into a FS brach that I unlock prior to padawan? Or are you just stuck with what you got, period?
When exactly is the point of no return on unlocking FS branches, is it Mellichae or Padawn?
I appreciate any light you may add to these questions of mine. :-)

We had a Jedi on TC unlock a branch after he was WELL into his jedi path (almost a knight). So I would say your friends are mistaken. There is no way to convert Jedi XP into FS XP. Perhaps the confusion lies in there...who knows? Then again, it may have been changed since he did it, but I don't believe so.

Once you are glowy you can always do quests for rewards or unlocks, and you can always convert xp into FS (although Jedi xp doesn't convert) and you can always train (assuming you have unlocked and have the necessary xp).
In fact, even after you are a Jedi Padawan you can train up a seventh branch, and drop one of your original six.

this is the key to understanding the issue. you can train (i.e. convert normal -> FS xp) a 7th and then drop one of your others

Thanks guys, this is good to know in case I ever feel like grinding some crafting xp LOL
Now you must always maintain at least 6 branches, but as an extreme example you could train all 16 if you liked after Padawan I'm assuming then?
