ah ok now i reread your post.
With a few boxes of pistol you should be easily able to get to the village and unlock your branches.
Doing the padawan trials will go a bit quicker with a friend helping out (the baz nitches), but they aren't too hard.
I have to tell you though, as someone who has unlocked two characters, a combat and a non-combat, if you actually believe that after taking a crafter through unlocking, mastering 6 branches etc, that you will want to do that all over again to make your new char a jedi lol you are dreaming. I predict you will be so sick of grinding... you just wont want to do it.
Thanks for the info ![]()
Yeah I figure after the first unlock I will probably need a break from the grind. However the second character I get after unlock I will use as acombat toon, and I'll get that one glowing and through the padawan trials at my leisure (when I'm not sick of grinding). Would be nice if SW xp was valid, those bastards....

Meepo, while looking for info on my combat dilema (using the search), I found about 4-8 pages of threads on the subject you seek. There is plenty of info on other threads about that topic. I would like to keep this thread on the topic of tips for crafters getting around the combat issues of unlocking because that info has been very, very scarce. Thanks
As long as you will be doing only Senses and Crafting branch unlocks, you won't have to worry much about combat except to keep yourself buffed and armored to protect against spawns you might run into accidentally while surveying etc. The only combat you will have to face are the two sith fights to get to the village in the first place, which are easily winnable with a few boxes of pistoleer, and the padawan trial quests, which you can easily solo with buffs, armor and a few boxes of pistoleer. Note that the baz nitch trial will go faster if you bring a combat friend. That's all you have to worry about.
