I was in a grove seeing the old man and then Sith less than 2 hours after I logged in the next day. I handled the Sith camp no problem. Then it was on to the Villa. I talked to the first NPC I saw and he sent me on some go fetch mission to Endor. After I completed the 5 missions I got the Health Buff crystal and was told that I unlocked the vehicular control tree. Then it was time to stop playing (dinner) so I headed to forums to see how best to way proceed with the rest of the FS grind. Yes I am one of those kids that read the directions after playing the game for a few days. I found the below, I ask doest it apply to me a post TE player. If so how do I get my ‘freely’ unlocked trees. I converted all my xps and only have 39K not enough for even one box. Thanks for your feedback.

I would have to train in this order:

Week 1: Village Phase 1: Combat Prowess: Ranged Accuracy
Week 4: Village Phase 2:Combat Prowess: Melee Speed

Week 7: Village Phase 3: Combat Prowess: Melee Accuracy

Week10: Village Phase 4: Enhanced Reflexes: Melee Defense

Week 13: Village Phase 1: Nothing I desire available

Week 16: Village Phase 2:Nothing I desire available

Week 19: Village Phase 3: Enhanced Reflexes: Ranged Defense

Week 22: Village Phase 4: Combat Prowess: Ranged Speed

However, if you are clever, you can use your free unlocks to reduce your waiting time. Imagine I have two free unlocks.First unlock would go on the last skill you would train, Combat Prowess: Ranged Speed, and thesecond unlock would be used forEnhanced Reflexes: Ranged Defense. This immediately means that the last skill you need to unlock by waiting for the normal village cycle and performing the relevant quest would be:

Week 10: Village Phase 4: Enhanced Reflexes: Melee Defense

Now I am finished on week 10, instead of week 22, all by careful planning of what skills I need, and what order to use my free unlocks.

To get a free unlock, you must talk to Paemos, who offers any free unlocks you might have. He will unlock the branch of your choice, and allocate enough xp to master that branch. Training is provided by Noldan.

Post TE? Maybe I'm having a McFly moment, but I don't know what that is. However, you seem to be newish, so you don't have to worry about free unlocks. Ya don't get any. Those were given to veteran players who began the Jedi grind under the old system of mastering professions. You can't do that anymore. I'm not really sure I understand the rest of your question, but I'll try. You ought to read all the stickies . Figure out which 6 trees you want, I'm assuming the ones you posted are directly from the stickies if I remember right. Are those the ones you want also? Vehicle control isn't one of those lol. Anyways, figure out which you want, which phase they are in etc. You unlocked Vehicle control you said, so you have to fill the tree with xp. What you gotta do now is keep grinding. Cap your weapons xp again and head back to the village, turn it in to Paemos, rinse and repeat. Until you fill 6 trees. And read the stickies first

I did read them, that is where I got thee above from. TE is the Total Experience, I was not ‘worrying’ about free unlocks I just don’t like to miss any thing. I don’t get to play much and my time is not to be wasted. I am a casual player but a serious one. I did the quest because Whip was the first guy I saw in the Villa. I got a cool reward for it to. I might fill the tree, I might not. Thank you for answering my question and advising me to read the stickies as my post question was a little less then understandable. /fixed

Stick to your paln and get your unlocks. I didn't and missed out on a couple of phases thatIwanted to unlock on. now im way behindand playing catch up.

Once you haveyour unlocks at least you can grind at your leasure. Even if you lose intrest for a while as I did ( FS since 20 Dec04)all you have to do is grind.
