Im bored so thought of taking some FS skills to enhance my alt a bit. Anyway, what exactly does survey 1-4 offer me ? Does it allow me to sample more ? Does it let me find higher concentrations ? Or is it just something that lets me survey larger areas ?

Right now my survey skill is 109 (+100 for MA, and +9 CA).

On assembly, Im at +127 now with tapes as a master droid engineer. What if any benefit would I get from taking assembly line ? Anymore amazing results ? I wont bother with experiment as I understand I cant add more experiment points to the 12 I have.

From what I understand, Survey only increases the area you can survey, assembly allows more "amazing" successes on the initial combine. Techniques decreases the chances of critical failures and experimentation does not give you more points, but more "amazings" during experimentation, so it's not worthless to have. Alot of AS's have those along with the CA's they have and notice a difference so they are still all worth getting.

I thought the experiment line added 2 experiment points and thus a way around buying skill tapes ??? It gives amazing results instead ? Amazing results at initial assembly doesnt do anything for droid engineering so I guess Assembly line is pointless then for me. I would need amazing results for middle steps to use experiment points in different rows.

Then you want the experimentation line. Even if you were only a ten point and could add more points, the experimentation points from FS crafting would not do it. It just leads to more amazings.

Only if you have no skills put into it I guess. I though it will add to your range if you have surveying 4 already.
