i have personally never heard about this well way back wen village came out i heard about sum ppl getting free tree unlocks i dont kno y tho. but sumone else posted sumthing about talking to paemos about a free unlock??? never heard or seen that. server:flurry

don't worry, you're still getting your jedi much faster than those who were pre pub 10 anyway

Let me enlighten you - Pre ten we had to grind proffs to get to jedi - those of us that unlocked prior had to wait till after ten came out before we could start the vilalge. SO in the old system i had unlocked but couldnt access my jedi till the new sstem was implimented. As a result I had everything unlocked for me and all the xp given to me in order to start out life as a jedi initiate.

I wouldn't have expected anything less after grinding out 26 proffesions Because technically we had done all that was required to get a jedi pre publish ten

those that had complete only a couple of there holocron proffesions were awarded free trees depending on how close to jedi they were.

Trust me its easier now----a hell ofalot easier - mind numbing but definently easier - One of my holo profs to grind out was merchant boy did that suck!

I'm in the village right now and know I have a long grind ahead of me. I also can only begin to imagine how long and boring grinding professions that you had no interest in must have been. I am so glad that all i have to do is the grind that lays before me. I think a sticky should be made for all the ppl who complain about our grind or try to find ways around it describing how it used to be to acquire Jedi. I think ppl would be a lot more content with the game if they could see how much easier they have it than the holocron grinders.

Actually holo grinding was much easier than current FS grinding (with a couple exceptions). Probably about the same amount of effort as combat xp grinding with grenades pre-nerf. Back then people would master professions in 3 days easy, and I'm sure it'd be even faster now. The notable exceptions were broken professions like DE and very difficult ones like BH, BE, etc. You just saved those for last and hoped that you'd unlock before you had to master them. Personally I think learningsome newprofessions would be much more fun than killing a million bols.

I don't know about you guys, but it's the trip from Dath SO to the village that does it for me,it's like 10 minutes drive just to get 44k for FSXP then a long drive back to find my group and cap-out again, and by then my group has usually dissipated and I have to search through the spam for half an hour to get another. Personally I think I can grind anything, ten times over if I have to, but that **edit** drive to the village,even on a BARC, just does my head in. That and the exchange rate, that Paemos is an extortionist!

Seems like this is the right post to ask a question about the free unlocks. Does anyone know if you are granted the novice box in a FS slot if you have free unlocks? Or do you have to grind the novice box out then open your free unlocks? Ex. If I want to open my free unlocks in enhanced reflexes...should I grind out the novice box or is that just given?

You can grind all 32 professions in 48 hours You just need resources! I did it on my Jedi IT IS POSSIBLE. Never again will i do that eithier
