If you're not going Jedi, I wouldnt advise getting 6 trees, your CL will drop a lot and the gain is not huge.

For your informtion the skills do the following:

Persuasion reduces the cost of teaching from NPCS

Luck increases the number of credits you loot from NPCS

Not that I don’t trust that you are right, however I was going off a SP calculator from Allakhzam.com and it indicates that I can have 6 FS trees and be a Master Smuggler/Master Pistoler and still have 28 SPs to spare.Things could have changed and the site not been updated.

I do know that I will need to pickup Master Medic in order to do the Persuasion quest, but that is easily done, and I can grind back Smuggler in a few hours, Thanks you for the response and clarification on the two force trees.

I am still lost on the, if I do become a Padi will my normal smuggling days be over

(LOL that was funny, did you hear that SOE I said smuggling)

I don’t want that for this toon, maybe a Jedi with the free toon that is my conundrum. Any more help will be appreciated, Thank you in advance.

the last two.... nah.. persuasion dosent seem to do much useful besides reduce training prices, and apparently allow higher % contraband pass. Luck changes cash amount loot but overall i wouldnt bother with those trees. Also, id only get one defense tree because apparently def is based off the weapon your using, and has been since the CURB.

Thanks for the info, I am still loking to find out if I can still smuggle and be a padi? Ithink I would likea jedi just bot with this toon.

Ok I have been reading the stickies and I am a little confused. I don’t want to be a Jedi, however I do want to get some FS trees filled to make me a better combatant. I was thinking this combination would be good for me as a smuggler.

Ranged Accuracy

Ranged Speed

Ranged Defense

Melee Defense

Luck

Persuasion

(Even though I don’t know what the last two can be used for, they sound smuggly)

What do you think? I don’t think it would be a great Jedi temp; with two trees from each sense; but I don’t want to be one right now. Also what happens after I fill the trees, and if I do go padi will I be pretty much done as a smuggler. My free toon (if I can find the time to put in to another toon) can be a Jedi but Bodin Blaze is a smuggler for life. I would not want to make this toon a padi only to find out that he cant be a smuggler, if smuggling ever becomes a reality. Thanks for the info.

Smuggled back to the top, I am still loking to find out if I can still smuggleafter becoming apadi? I would likea jedi just not with this toon. (lol, did you hear that SOE I said smuggle)
