Im new to the force and i spent about an hour doing patrol missions at the village and when i was done it said i unlocked range accuracy. Now im not gonna use anything ranged, in fact im not ranged now. Did i mess up or can i de-unlock it or does it take up the 6 i can unlock??

yea hate to say it but you messed up... you can either go with it and change it when you unlock, or wait another phase for the unlocks you want.

imo, the mods these tree's give you are so small, it wont make much difference if you are going jedi. If you just wanted the mods for your current prof thats a different story.

how can i change it, and how would i know what phase does what. I am going jedi so is there a way to get rid of it?

You cannot drop and you cannot switch. You either have to wait for the next phase to come around or live with it. By the time you hit knight, most of this stuff doesn't even matter.

I wonder if Dark Jedi's have a better buffet in the enclave. What I would do for those cocktail weenies.

You made the same mistake I did in phase 1. Currently I have unlocked 5 branches but only filled 4 of the 5. I didn't want ranged accuracy, but I screwed up and never trained in it. So I will exit in phase 3 instead of phase 2 because it was my choice NOT to train in it, instead I opted to choose a different quest in phase1 when it came back around (and it did).

Short answer, NO you only get 1 quest per phase. That's it, NO whinning, NO crying, accept the fact u screwed up and move on. If you can't accept that then you shouldn't be a Jedi.

Nobody said Jedi was going to be handed to you on a silver platter. And if you think your going to go out there and get whatever you want you are in for a RUDE awakening.

Part of becomming Jedi is knowing exactly what path you need to take and howto get it. What does that mean? That means you have to READ & UNDERSTAND what you read. The forums are full of information some of it GOOD, some of it BAD. It's up to you to filter out what's good and whats bad. There are people who play the game just to mislead you & tell you things that are wrong. And then there are people who will tell you exactly what you need to know. Just like in RL there are people who will decive you & there are those that genuinely help everyone. NOT understanding the RULES of the game is NOT an excuse to cry foul.

sorry about it bro..... but that is the way it goes..... but even if you didnt want ranged accuracy, i hope you are combat profession, and aiming to grind combat xp... b/c then it would not be a total loss....b/c you can still grind combat xp and transfer it to your ranged accuracy branch. now if you were something like a crafter, then the problem would be much bigger, and you would have wasted 3 weeks of your grind.... having said all this though.... i am a melee, and i have just finished my melee speed tree.... and to be honest... it doesn't do crud for me , and nothing noticable ...so in close...these trees are all pretty much meaningless....

Forget about it...the gain you get from any of those branches for your jedi will be almost nothing. Just do whichever branch is easiest to unlock, once you get jedi , if you really care (And you wont) THEN redo them.
