Hi i was thinking do u have grind xp 2 get rest of boxes on the tree after unlocking 1 box or can u simply do the quest again next time it comes around and get another so u would have 2 boxes in the tree?thanks

By doing a quest you unlock the entire tree so that you can grind XP for it. Even if you could get one box completed each phase by doing a quest that would take you about a year, maybe more... 24 boxes X 3 weeks per phase = long grey beard. I dont think the method your asking about works. Grinding the XP would be a lot faster.

You get no XP for unlocking a branch. That only gives you the ability to train boxes in that branch once you have enough XP. So, you do a quest to unlock a branch, then grind XP for ALL the boxes in the branch, including the Novice box for the tree and the 1st through 4th boxes of the branch.

Previous poster is right. You have to run the quests to "GET PERMISSION" to fill in the boxes (unlock a tree).

Here are the steps... hope this helps:

1. Run a mission (or missions) for a village NPC to "unlock" a BRANCH (no boxes filled in yet).

2. Leave the village (usually) to Grind whatever xp you need(rifle, melee, etc.)

3. Return to the village and talk to Paemos. He canconvert your "normal" xp to Force Sensitive XP.

4. When you have enough FS XP totrain a box that you have unlocked, go talk to Noldan and train that box.

EXAMPLE FOR A RIFLEMAN:

1. Talk to Captain Sarquillo in Phase 1. Go run his missions to check out Sith waypoints.

Completing his missions will unlock ("give you permission to train") the Ranged Speed branch in the FS Combat tree.

2. Leave the village and go kill a bunch of stuff.Get 900K rifle XP and 90K combat xp (max values you can accrue).

3. Return to village, talk to Paemos. Pick "Convert to Combat FS" option.

Convert your 900K rifle xp into 30K of FS Combat XP.

Talk to Paemos again. Pick "Convert to Combat FS" option again.

Convert your 90K of Combat xp into 30K of FS Combat XP.

You now should have 60K of FS Combat XP

4.Dosteps 2-3 until you have enough FS Combat XP to fill in a box in theCombat Ranged Speed branch.

NOTE: It takes 30K of FS Combat XP to get NOVICE BOX in the FS Combat tree. Same for FS Reflexes tree.

VERY IMPORTANT: Be sure when you talk to Paemos that you pick the correct option for conversion.

For example, If you convert your "normal" xp to FS REFLEXES xp, then you CAN NOT use that FS XP in the FS COMBAT tree!!

Actually, it's 50k for the Novice boxes.

Thanks, DRWolfe... my mistake.

ALSO... You can train the Novice Boxes without ANY branchesunlocked. Itsthe branch boxes ABOVE Novice that you have to unlock. You have to Unlock PLUS TRAIN(fill in) six full branches (not just any 24 boxes) to qualify forJedi Initiate.

i ground out all my fs xp before training in any of the boxes, that way i did not have to change my template at all, i simply saved up the 80million fs xp (that figure might be a bit off, lol) then trained in all the boxes last week, and no, you dont have to have the grinding done by the start of the next phase

Is there no limit on the amount of force sensitive XP you can bank? i.e. no cap like other types of xp?
